Obama, and Pelosi are Steering Us Towards Socialism
A proportional problem Nancy Pelosi believes that socialism is the solution for all of our ills. If there is a problem, a program will fix it. Why is it that the Democrats – at a state and federal level – think the solution for all our problems is more government? Based on the data, if the Democrats want to actually give us a nation with their ideals – more jobs, more money to spend, greater standard of living, more freedom, and standing up for the little guy’s business – then they have to vote for less government.
The only guarantee for less government is less government spending. The fastest way to cure a spending addict is to cut up the credit cards, ration their cash, and not let them get more credit. In order for the Democrats to give us what they say they want for the country, they must do the same thing to bloated state and federal budgets.
In short, they must vote for the small government and small government budgets that even the Republicans have forgotten are key to a great nation. Increased government regulation is directly proportional to: Increased unemployment Increased overall tax rate Increased outsourcing of work to other countries Increased length of “dole rolls” Decreased worker productivity Decreased standard of living Decreased freedom for individuals Decreased opportunity for small businesses to be formed and operate, which a are major source of employment, as well as for new technologies Decreased national ranking in terms of international influence Increased government regulation is directly proportional to: Increased unemployment Increased overall tax rate Decreased tax collections as the economy slows Increased outsourcing of work to other countries Increased length of “dole rolls” Decreased worker productivity Decreased standard of living Decreased freedom for individuals Decreased opportunity for small businesses to be formed and operate, which a are major source of employment, as well as for new technologies Decreased national ranking in terms of international influence And yet the Democrats – at a state and federal level – think the solution for all our problems is more government and higher taxes. Based on the data, if the Democrats want to actually give us a nation with their ideals – more jobs, more money to spend, greater standard of living, more freedom, and standing up for the little guy’s business – then they have to vote for less government. Taxed enough already? The government that collects has decided to rescind the Bush tax cuts.
To make matters worse, the Democrats are floating the idea of a VAT tax. This is a value added tax at each step of production, essentially creating a national sales tax. Imagine a national sales tax along with higher income tax rates. And the government will demand higher taxes to pay for the unemployment payments and ballooning services for the elderly, despite the fact that higher taxes and higher regulation kill growth. The Democrat party solution is more regulation in an effort to root out what they think are the inefficiencies of the free market. Yet more regulation and taxes result in declining job markets and more poverty. The current economic problem is proportional to the level of taxes and regulation. In other words, it is all proportional.
